Offering it up

Tonight I attended the monthly Mass for the souls in Purgatory at my parish. Father thanked us for coming out in the bad weather to attend the Mass and said that the souls would benefit more from our coming to this Mass, than when the weather was sunny and pleasant. He said he himself had a cold and headache, but that the souls would benfit from that. He said, "The worse we feel, the better the souls will feel." Just a reminder about offering up our suffering for them.
