I live in Northern Ireland and we at present have an epidemic of young people even as young as eleven taking their own lives.
Please pray for the eternal repose of Angelo, an elderly and retired army who took his life recently. May God have mercy on his soul.
I would ask for prayers for a friend of mine, Julie, who committed suicide two years ago in November. She was a sweet soul who was suffering terribly from a broken relationship & heart. No one knew she was in such great pain as she decided to take her own life. I pray that God has spared her as she grew up with terrible messaging from her parents ("I wish you'd never been born" type of words) and I think she suffered with this throughout her life. I believe Christ, in his mercy, takes this into account as the Cathecism also notes. Thank you for your prayers for her.
Please pray for Leigh Ann. Her baby William died from a heart condition one week after he was born in August last year. She feel into a deep depression. She commited suicide in November. Also, please pray for her family she left behind. Rest in peace Leigh Ann with your baby William....
