urgent prayer request

An old friend of mine just sent me the following note. She had no idea about my train story. I sent her to our website to read it and she could nto believe it. I asked permission to post the request and she said yes. Please pray for thsi family. Thanks

I hardly know how to even explain the desperate need for prayer for a young man named Robbie. Robbie is in his middle to late 20's, his mom is the most Godly woman I know. Robbie decided to live an alternate lifestyle and has gone through many mental issues. About 3 years ago he changed his life went to school and became a nurse. Unfortunately he stopped his medication went back to the old lifestyle, refused to acknowledge his parents. A couple days ago he tried to take his life by jumping off a bridge in NYC onto a railroad track. God spared his life, the train that was coming was on the other track and missed him, he had his wallet on him for ID and his cell phone was intact which is how they found his parents. He had multiple fractures, throughout his body, his nose was pushed into his brain, he is having surgery today to pull his nose out it is a 12 hour surgery. He needs many surgeries if he survives today. But he prognosis is not good.
His mom has had back surgery and has been unable to go to NYC. They are trying to get things ready in New York so she can go but it will be extremely painful for her. His dad has heart issues and is also not in good health and unable to travel, their older son is in NYC making decisions.
Please pray for this family. Thank you.

  1. I have an update on Robbey (His name was misspelled in the original request) from his mother.

Update 1/29: "I stand in awe at the goodness of God for our family. Robbey did well in surgery under the incredible eye of multiple surgeons. He is in Neuro ICU... He's on a ventilator for next 72hrs. ...Will share more soon..but just had to tell you all how grateful I am for your prayers..deeply humbled and thanking God for you.."

Praise the Lord and keep praying!
