I received the following note today:
I am glad to have just discovered your site--Some names of people I
have known who have comitted suicide:
A teen ager who accidentally comitted suicide while playing Russian
roulette with his father's pistol --"Brother" (1951)
--my best friend's mother with severe depression (she was like a
loving aunt to me): --Fanny (1979)
--and my friend's uncle (name unknown) who had committed suicide some
years previously: --"Fanny's brother"
A homesick African college student I was tutoring in English in 1968:
--Pat (1968)
Another fellow college student who drank herself to death because she
couldn't deal with the voices in her head: --Mary (1969)
My step-Uncle's elderly widower father who committed suicide after
his beloved dog was taken from him when he was being coerced to go
into a nursing home: -- Earl. (1970?)
Student age 16 who committed suicide (2010) on the first anniversary
of his mother's cancer death :--Jules
please pray also for his father, Chris , especially on the next
double anniversary.
--Also all the elderly British people one reads about in UK
newspapers who fly to the Swiss suicide clinic because they will not
endure death from painful sickness.
--Also in the UK a couple of single mothers who killed their
handicapped children, and then themselves, because they were
depressed, exhausted and overwhelmed as carers.
Thank you--

Hi!I am writing from Nairobi,Kenya and I am amazed that there is a blog for lost souls. This is because I recently begun praying for souls who have committed suicide, those that are in danger of committing suicide and those that will commit suicide.I thought I was adding them to my prayers as normal but now I know that God was the one who inspired me to do this,I am even more amazed that there are others all over the world who are involved in praying for these souls.Glory To God.In 1997 God saved me from suicide so this touches my heart.I live with Bipolar Disorder and I want to encourage all those tempted to suicide that God cares and though the going may be tough the Bible does say that even though our Mother and Father MAY forsake us...God will never forsake us.I would have been a suicide statistic and I believe someone prayed for me then and I am alive today.Let us join hands and help our brothers and sisters all over the world. If you can fast on water and bread only on Wednesdays and Fridays every week. You see...doing two days of fasting a week will amount to 104 days a year and the more we re the more powerful the efficacy. In closing I want to encourage you all by saying that I was not even looking for a blog or website for lost souls but by the Singular Grace of God I arrived here.Coincidence!...I do not think so.Divine Providence!A resounding yes.Thank you and God Bless.
